I still hold the notion that I will win big money close to my heart. I saw this commercial that advertises if you complete their surveys you will be put in their $25,000 grand prize drawing.
Whoo-hoo!, I thought. So, I gave them my name, age, etc. and started surveying away!
At first it was fun. I would complete the 5-10 minute survey and then get to virtually 'scratch' a lotto ticket that reveals how many entries I get in the grand prize drawing. I usually get 25.
Now it's annoying. Every day I get at least 15-20 'exciting' new surveys in my inbox. How exciting could surveys about carbonated beverages and women's magazines be? Bleh. I bet my name was never even put in a drawing.
I will now only occupy my time pursuing real opportunities to win big: like the lotto.

Boots with the Fur
I am in love with the jacket she is wearing! I picked it up 80% off back in March. I love, love, love dressing her up in designer clothes for a fraction of the price!
Here she is again with daddy:
I got her hat for about $2 at the Children's Place.
Poor G is teething something terrible! She has four teeth coming up on top, and one poking through next to her bottom teeth. I'm not sure if they are all supposed to come out at the same time. I'm also not sure if that's better for her to get them all out at the same time or worse?
One things for sure: Her smile will never be the same. I'm going to miss her gummy grin!
I'm out of good coffee! I was reminded of this when I opened my microwave this morning to find my half cup of coffee in the microwave from yesterday! I always throw my cup in to reheat it, and I almost always forget to drink it! Now all that I have left in the house is this gross chocolate peppermint flavor, that tastes like neither chocolate or peppermint....just tastes gross.

Snowed In
With the dastardly blizzard approaching any minute now, Gianna and I are cozy and safe inside. The wind is howling outside our window, and I feel very thankful for our heated home! Even though Gigi and I seldom venture out during the day, we are beginning to feel the effect of staying in all day and night. I went to 7AM Mass and the roads were already treacherous. I can't imagine how they are now. My poor husband is still out on the road, and I anxiously await his safe return.
I really do enjoy watching the snow fall from the comfort of my couch. It's quite romantic. You get the warm fuzzies that make you want to put in a Michael Buble CD, don your most comfy pj's and sip hot chocolate by the crackling fire. It makes me wish I had a fireplace! What I don't enjoy is functioning in the snow. It literally immobilizes me. The last thing I want to do is put on 17 layers of clothes, clunky boots, get slapped in the face with the bitter wind and slip and slide on the side walk, just to get to a car that needs to get unburied from the snow I just thought was delightful coming down!
With that said, this is my first blog entry! It's pretty exciting; I've always sorta wanted to organize my thoughts and happenings in written word. I hope to post here often, but sadly this could be one of my many whims that I forget I ever created!
Happy Feast Day and stay safe!!
