I still hold the notion that I will win big money close to my heart. I saw this commercial that advertises if you complete their surveys you will be put in their $25,000 grand prize drawing.
Whoo-hoo!, I thought. So, I gave them my name, age, etc. and started surveying away!
At first it was fun. I would complete the 5-10 minute survey and then get to virtually 'scratch' a lotto ticket that reveals how many entries I get in the grand prize drawing. I usually get 25.
Now it's annoying. Every day I get at least 15-20 'exciting' new surveys in my inbox. How exciting could surveys about carbonated beverages and women's magazines be? Bleh. I bet my name was never even put in a drawing.
I will now only occupy my time pursuing real opportunities to win big: like the lotto.
Hi Vicki! I hadn't noticed you have a blog now. Thanks for telling me. It's nice to see some pictures of Gianna. She is getting so big.
ReplyDeleteWe belong to a think where we do online surveys, too. You get points which eventually translate into a cheque but it takes forever to accumulate as many as you need. Anthony does not take his surveys so I do, which means I often take the same one twice. Boooooring!
